Meet Our Newest Addition! "Little Rosie"

We are praising the Lord for the safe arrival of Little "Rosie"!
She was born on November 22, 2014.  We were gone from home all day and when we came home, around 5 p.m., we were very surprised to see a little filly standing next to Dapple in the stall!  She is so cute and loveable!
And just in case you are wondering, Dapple is not a miniature horse.  She is a Welsh/Shetland pony that we use to pull a cart.   The father of Rosie is "Littleman", a 30" blue roan, miniature horse.
We are thinking that Rosie's colors look a lot like a grulla!
The day after she was born, we let the pair out to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine and fresh air.
You can see they are enjoying themselves.   And Dapple is so happy to be a Mama again.  :)

Want to know why we called her "Rosie"?

Well, this year we started a new business from home selling quality hair accessories from the Lilla Rose Company.   They are best known for their Flexi Clips that fit in any type of hair - thick or thin.  All the hair clips have names.  And it just so happens that they have one for a horse lover.
This hair clip is called, "Rosie".

Meet our Tiniest Mare - Charity!

Meet Miss Charity!

We just bought her in August, 2014.  Charity is a 2 year old mare and stands around 27 1/2" tall at the withers, so she's a tiny one!  She is a very sweet little girl and loves attention!  We plan on breeding her in the spring of 2015 with our little stud, Carmen, who is 28" tall.  We are so excited to see what the two little ones will produce and if you're excited too, make sure you watch our blog as we will most certainly be posting pictures!
This is a picture of when Carmen & Charity first met. :)  *Notice Carmen's very interested expression. :)  He does not waste time trying to get the mares to like him.

Pretty Mama, Due to foal the end of November!!!

The  Sparks Family's cart pony is soon to give birth to a foal!

Dapple is one of our family ponies.  No, she is not a miniature horse.  She is a Welsh/Hackney cross.
There is no doubt that she IS EXPECTING!   Any day now and a new little creature will emerge into the world!  How exciting!  Please pray with us that she will have a safe delivery and that she will stay in good health.

Below is a picture of Dapple giving Lonni a ride in our cart.  Cart ponies are so much fun!
